A few metres from the main gate, inside. We spot this little creature.
Something in the rodent family, probably nothing more than a glorified rat.

I don't think it was a rat. A smaller rabbit (wabbit!) perhaps.
It did not have a tail. 10 times larger the average city rat. Did not act like a rat. It hopped.

"10 times larger the average city rat" - You haven't seen the size of the monsters outside parliament house.
They're certainly larger than some cats. In fact, the one I saw was feeding on kitty roadkill. The rat was larger.
