btw those specks on the glacier up there are people crossing it.

One encounters that glacier on his/her way to Hemkund Sahib (the mecca for sikhs),
which is another 3km further. The glacier, locals say, is the most challenging part of the journey.
We had plans to cover Hemkund Sahib, but 2 days of nonstop showers forced us to call it off.

Nonstop showers and add to that my weak willpower and legs.
We always set off exploring without eating anything, proper like.
And when the others would go eat lunch, I was too tuckered out to do EVEN THAT.
