I shot this picture standing on army territory. Had to cross a fencing to reach at a higher elevation. Lucky that no guards confiscated my camera or took a shot at us.
But the view was rewarding enough.
On the centre-left is the army base.
On the bottom-right is the taxi stand. You can also get a glimpse of the road leading to Ghangaria.
On the far side lies the main town of Joshimath. If it was'nt for the fog, the aerial ropeway too could've been spotted.
